"catching up"

Gosh I'm up late. Leslie caught me online this late. So I figure I better write in my journal. It has been a week! :)
We didn't ahve kids today at school. We had a workshop on Poverty issues. It was allright but it could have been 2 hours instead of all day. I had a good tie with Tanya cutting up though. We had a fun time going thorugh KFC to get TIm lunch. She told me to address the cashier by name. So we talked to "Carol!" She seemed tired and it was kind of fun that we chatted with her and recognized she was having a rough day!
Tim and I went out to eat with my parents tonight. We have done this the past two Friday's. Dad calls and says...Pick us up. I think he likes riding in Tim's Explorer! LOL My parents are leaving Saturday morning for a day cruise on the casino boats in Jacksonville. They are spending the night afterwards. I am so excited that they are finally doing something together.
Tim's parents are expected here tomorrow about 1. I've been frantically cleaning house all night. That is why I'm up late. It needs cleaning anyway. I actually cleaned some of the computer room, which is a major accomplishment. Tim moved some furniture around. I think it goes well. We put the sleep sofa in the living room and moved the big chair to the guest room/dog room/Tim's dressing room. I think it will work well.
We are planning to pick strawberries tomorrow. I'm going to make my strawberry pie with white chocolate! YUM! I think on Sunday I will make Vanilla delight. Haven't made it in years! Along with ham and the fixings. Oh, saturday night will be BBQ. We are driving to Morven to pick up ribs from Mr. Miller. he did our catering for our rehearsal dinner and people still tlak about how good those ribs were!
I gave Scooter a bath tonight. He looks so much better. I did it in the tub this time. It was easier than the sink. Later I brushed him out. He DID NOT want me to brush him. I ended up sticking a toy in his mouth so he chewed on that while I brushed. He looks better. All nice and clean for grandma, grandpa, and aunt Lindsey to see him for the first time.
Well, I better scidaddle. It is so late. I need to get to sleep!
