"What a day of tragedy"

September 11, 2001~5:44 p.m.

What a day in the history of the United States!

I can not understand how a person can get on a plane and know that what they are about to do (hijack it) will also kill themselves. How crazy can you get? I was talking to my mom and she said these Palastenians or whoever are responsible, believe in this god alah or something. And htey believe that as the plane crashes, tehy die and go to live with alah and it is the greatest honor for them. That this is what they live for.

no god, or buddha, or whatever could ever be good enough that it would tell you to kill innocent people, cause tragedy and kill yourself in the long run for agreat honor. What kind of honor is that? You are going to die a lonely death, no one knows who you are, all you wind up being is a bunch of ashes floating to the ground that no one knows. You are a sacrificed for what?

This type of tragedy tells us that we need to stop thinking we are so safe. That we don't ahve to pray. That we don't need God. This type of tragedy needs to affirm in all of us that we ALL need to be on our knees EVERY day and ALL the time in prayer! That we should never feel "safe" from the enemy. We always need to rely on God and prayer to get us through each day. When we forget that, or when we get relaxed, thinking we will be allright...is when things like this happen. We can never let our guard down. We must always be on the attack with "spiritual warfare!"
