"update"
July 28, 2002~8:30 p.m.

PTL! Tim's grandmother is pulling through. They doubt it was a stroke now and think it was a kidney infection from the lack of fluids. She has been prone to KI since she has had this problem the past few years. From what they are saying, the weakness and lack of fluids and food had her out of it. Now that she has the IV's she has perked up. She asked for a Mt. Dew last night and she was sitting on the side of the hospital bed this morning. They say she may go home in 2-3 days. And they are still not sure if she will finish her radiation. They will do tests tomorrow and decide. Bad thing is her regular dr is out of town. That is why they thought she had a stroke, because a new dr saw her and didn't know her case history.
I had a feeling that there was no stroke and that as soon as her levels got straightened out via IV's that she would improve. And that was the case.
Hallalujah! I know that prayers work and I believe that all the prayers for her helped pull her through. We continue to call and check up on her and see how she is improving!
