"plans...change plans.."

Today was Tim's day off. We slept in a little and finally got up to shower. We planned to go get lunch and catch an afternoon movie. We did lunch and then went to the mall to see what movies were there. We decided on one for 3 PM and so we walked the mall for 45 minutes while we waited. We bought a couple small things but mostly looked. After we bought the tickets I called to check our messages and saw that my cousin from Alabama had called. I called my dad and he said they were meeting at Denny's at 3:30 and if we could come, to come. Her nad her family were on their way back from Orlando. So we got our tickets refunded and went to meet them. I hate to miss them when I rarely see them at all. And we can watch a movie anytime.
I enjoyed getting to see her and I finally met her husband. She had all three girls with her. The youngest one is the one that looks so much like her when she was little. She is so cute and sassy. She hugged me. Makes me feel good to know she likes me and doesn't even see me much. She tells her mom often to tell me she loves me. How sweet. My dad came a little later and of course brought stoffed animals for them. L. kept saying she needed to get some dog food for her stuffed dogs my Dad brought. She is a riot.
Anyway, our day's plans changed but it was fine and I enjoyed seeing them so much!
Afterwards we went to pick Tim's car up. We dropped it off to get Freon put in the air. It had stopped blowing cool air so we had to get it fixed.
I can't believe that in 3 days my in laws will be here. In 4 days I will enter my recipe in the taste off and then we will head to the casino boat for the weekend.
I made my recipe yesterday morning for Tim to take to their Monday morning meetings. He said everyone loved it and ate every bite. They asked for the recipe. I just hope that I make a 1st place in my catagory. It is almost too awesome to believe I would make 1st place in the whole contest. I don't think mine is fancy enough. But you never know. I have been picking up little things here and there to decorate with. It is a bread loaf and I plan to put it on a small metal tray and I bought a white with red stripes towel today. I will decorate the area around it with that. Then I bought a small basket and I'm going to fill it with my Dad's brown eggs from his chickens. The recipe has eggs in it so I figured that would be appropriate. I hope it looks nice.
