"Casino cruise and guess who won?"

We are back from the casino trip. We ended up losing money but we had fun. Instead of Tim's mom winning like she usually does, Daddy came away the big winner. He did great right at the last minute. Mom kept her own and came away ahead but the rest of us didn't. The boat was rocky as the weather was bad. The waves were worst than usual so it was hard to walk. We all looked drunk on that boat. I made sure I knew where the life preservers and life boat were.
Oh, and for those interested.......
I won 1st place in the bread catagory at the cookbook contest!!!!!!
I was so scared when they made us all stand up in our catagory. My mom and mIL were with me. Tim was also. When they called out honorable mention I was relieved that I was not last. Then they called 3rd place so I knew I placed at least 2nd, then they called out 2nd and it wasn't me and so I knew I had won. I was so thrilled! I got a plaque and a bag of goodies and a plant. I will also be mailed a check for $50 and I will have my picture along with the recipe in the cookbook that comes out on the 30th. I was so excited and they (family) were all excited for me. I knew it was too much to win grand prize, but this was all I had even hoped for. Next year I'll enter again and try to do just as well.
