"Delicious dinner"
April 24, 2002~9:18 p.m.

Oh, we had a wonderful dinner tonight. It was much better than what I was planning before. The steaks George brought over were scrumptious! They were marinated and so tender. I think they were NY strip steaks. We had about a dozen of them. We grilled them all so we could use leftovers in fajitas and such. Heather made delicious homemade mashed potatoes and tea. I made corn on the cob, broccoli and lima beans. I also had lettuse for a salad but forgot about it. We were toooo full to even think about it. I also had exactly 4 pieces of strawberry pie left so we all had a slice iwth cool whip on top. Man that was delicious! We were so full. It was good to have them over and have a great dinner too.
It is so wonderful to have them next door and be able to do this spur of the moment. Good friends are great.
