"Going to the Dome!"

Oh man, we had one of the most awesome games last night! This season with the new coach has been so exciting as the games have not been predictable. We have had games where we were losing up until the last half of the 4th quarter but turned around and made a come back. Last night was so exciting. The team we were playing was from Atlanta and they were so stoked as they had never been in the play offs before. They had penny jugs and they rarely sat down the whole time as they were too busy cheering. Their boys were big and they could hit and knock us down in a second.
But we prevailed! We scored first and scored 3 times before they finally did towards the end of the game. Then they were able to score 2 touchdowns and we needed to score to keep us ahead enough to secure this game. The other team was rightthere by the goal line. And we kept stopping them from making a touch down. On their 4th down know where we stopped them? At the 1 yard line. Hallalujah! We were screaming "thank you Jesus" after that play. We finally got the ball back around the 50th yard line and kept it in that area for the rest of the game. We had about 14 seconds left and they threw a pass and WE caught it! So we knew we had the game wrapped up then.
WE ARE GOING TO THE DOME, BABY!!!! Yes baby!
The only bad thing about going to the dome next week is that we are scheduled to play Saturday night. We had looked online at reservations and found the omn i hotel in the c n n center at a great price under 100 bucks. So we were going to stay there as it really is just across the street. Then T. realized that his darn office Christmas party is that same night and he will be in deep trouble if he is not there. He is so crushed. We were both so ready to go. Why did they have to schedule the Christmas party on a Daturday night? Bah Hum Bug.
Oh well, we are just elated and proud that they are going to the dome.
