"went well and we are back"

We are back home. Everything went fine. Tim was asked to speak at the funeral on behalf of the family. He was so worried the night before about what to say but I helped him a little with the ending and insisted he type it up and not just wing it.
As soon as he stepped up there he got emotional and started to cry. That was the first time he had done that and it made everyone else get emotional also. He still did a good job and everyone told him so. He did a good job of portraying who his grandfather is.
His grandma is doing ok. I think she is going to need some time to herself soon so she can grieve in privacy. Tim's mom is starting to take it bad now that she is home and it has hit here.
I have a lot to catch up on.....
