"4 day work weeks"
September 26, 2004~10:02 p.m.

We get another day off work tomorrow. The hurricane/tropical depression is coming our way and so we are ordered to stay home and do nothing. Just relax and sleep. As of this evening, the rains have started and are pretty strong. The winds are so strong it is kicking the rain all the way under our front porch and pelting our windows with rain. It will be one wet day tomorrow.
A neighbor might bring their boys over for me to watch. One thing about schools closing is that parents that don't teach have to find someone to watch their children if they have to go in to work.
I won't know what it is like to go to work 5 days a week. Two weeks in a row we got out from the hurricanes. Last week I was off for our trip and this week I'm off again for the hurricane and next week I have a dr's appointment. Geesh, I can get used to 4 day work weeks!
