"I was cute once..."

I happened to have one of my parent's old photo albums here and decided to scan some pics. I used to be cute once....
I've just always liked this picture. I look slightly happy, although hot from the South Georgia heat and humidity. Not to mention the drool stain on my pretty dress. Must have been teething!
We may not have had much at times, but we sure were spoiled at Christmas when we were little.
My first birthday. My Manu made my cake- a drum cake! She made all our cakes. This was the only one she made for me, as she died the following spring.
