We are going out of town tonight. We havea wedding on Saturday for DH's good friend. They are playing golf tomorrow morning so we need to get up there early. The groom's mom called us last night to tell us we are invited to the rehearsal dinner, so that will be nice to socialize with everyone there. Not that we had to be invited because DH is not in the wedding. But at our wedding, their whole family was invited to our rehearsal dinner too. I just felt that a rehearsal dinner should be a party to celebrate the couple, their family and friends. It should be more than just those in the party. We invited all out of town guests and close friends involved. We had the most delicious BBQ you have ever tasted. They were finger licking good. There was more than enough, the cooker was funny and provided laughs and take out boxes for guests to take ribs home. What a better evening can you ask for? We had red check tableclothes and silver chicken wire baskets with silver kisses in them. It was fun and relaxing to just have fun. Of course once the dad's started toasting it got teary eyed.
Now I'm getting all nostaligic.

All this to say I'll be gone for a few days. Will be back soon!
